Welcome to RideHard!

For many months now I've been trawling the web, looking for comprehensive information on DIY Bike Resprays. Although I did find lots of valuable information - mostly hidden inside Forums and message boards, I felt that there's still space for another resource. I really enjoy reading about people's own experiences with this sort of thing, and suspected I'm not alone. So welcome to RideHard - where I'll be documenting my progress on the DIY Paintjob on my Honda CB500, as well as aim to provide other Motorcycle related information...

by Hedonist666 on Apr.16, 2009, under Biker Gear

Well the title says it all doesn’t it. The Ucom Twintalker 6800 I’m describing in a previous post, has been tested on the road, while riding from London to Dover on one bike. After that we put it in the bag, and throughout our 6-day trip through France we didn’t look back or regret it [...]

So this weekend we ended up at Lidl once again.. we’re in the process of planning a trip on the bike this Easter Weekend, so decided to give the wireless intercom system a go, which Lidl is/was selling with all the other cheap biker stuff they offered. Buying the CB500 from Ebay..

by Hedonist666 on Apr.03, 2009, under CB500

Who doesn’t like a bargain? I for one am completely crazy about bargains. From Electronics to vehicles, I love to look around auctions and classified ads, to see if something catches my eye. Now (un)fortunately this trait is shared by my husband as well. And one of our favourite pastimes is browsing Ebay Motors, to [...]

El-Cheapo Biker Gear - The Germans have invaded!

by Hedonist666 on Mar.25, 2009, under Biker Gear

It’s that time of year again, when Aldi and Lidl have just gone through the DIY and gardening themed products, and out comes the motorcycling gear. As you are aware, whatever Aldi and Lidl sell is always limited stock, so if you’re late, everything will be sold out!
Let’s have a look at what we’ve got [...]
