If you’ve got a Honda CB550 or other vintage Honda, the following list of resources may be of use to you:
Help & Advice:
http://www.sohc4.net- Single Over Head Cam Four Owners club
http://forums.sohc4.net – SOHC4 Forums, Loads of likeminded people and informatoin
http://www.sohc.co.uk – UK based club, also has a forum. Many people join both websites to get the most exposure for any questions
Owner and Service Manuals
http://www.sohc4.net/?page_id=207 – You can download PDF versions of the Owner and Service Manuals at the bottom of the page
Parts
David Silver Spares – A good selection of older Honda parts (genuine and aftermarket), convenient to order via the website and based in the UK so the delivery is quick. They don’t sell EVERYTHING though and you also might want to compare costs with other shops because they can be expensive..
Consolidated Motor Spares B.V. – Huge selection of Japanese Motorcycle parts both old and new available to purchase online. This company is based in the Netherlands so do check regarding postage costs. I haven’t yet ordered from them so I’m not sure if they tend to have a lot of things in stock all the time.
John Oldfield Motorcycles – Long established Honda parts specialist in Southampton. They offer a sort of “old fashioned” mail order system which means you can order parts on the phone, not via the website. You can apparently pay by Paypal though but I am yet to try these people.
Ebay – From universal bike parts to used genuine parts, wait long enough and you’ll find everything you need.
