I took it out for a ride of about 70 miles this evening. Only this time I deliberately rode around one gear lower than I normally would in order to keep the bike well above 3000rpm. For several miles along the motorway I also let it ride well above 5000rpm in fourth for at least 20 miles. I've got a puddle of orange oil on my drive, which must have dripped there as I was giving it a quick clean. I now have greyish oil collecting under the bike, where it's parked in my garage. I’ve just had this exact same thing happen to my Cali Titanium.

I took it out for a ride of about 70 miles this evening. Only this time I deliberately rode around one gear lower than I normally would in order to keep the bike well above 3000rpm. For several miles along the motorway I also let it ride well above 5000rpm in fourth for at least 20 miles.

I’ve got a puddle of orange oil on my drive, which must have dripped there as I was giving it a quick clean. I now have greyish oil collecting under the bike, where it’s parked in my garage.

It seems to happen quite a bit but only since the weather has got a bit colder/damper. The minimum I do on this bike is two 30 mile commutes a day and I don't hang about.
